Claudriel ("we", "us", "our") is a personal operations platform that helps professionals manage commitments, schedules, and client context. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
When you use Claudriel, we may access the following data through Google APIs:
- Gmail (read-only): Email metadata and message content to extract commitments, follow-ups, and context. We do not send, modify, or delete your emails.
- Google Calendar (read-only): Calendar events to provide scheduling context in your daily brief. We do not create, modify, or delete your events through this scope.
- Google Drive (read-only): Document metadata for context linking. We do not modify or delete your files.
How We Use Your Data
- Extract commitments and action items from your email conversations
- Generate daily briefings with your upcoming schedule and pending items
- Detect drifting commitments that may need your attention
- Provide contextual information about people and projects you work with
Your data is processed solely to provide Claudriel's features to you. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising purposes.
Data Storage and Security
- Your data is stored on secured servers hosted in Canada
- Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest
- All connections use TLS encryption in transit
- We retain your data only as long as your account is active
Third-Party Services
Claudriel uses the Anthropic API (Claude) to process text for commitment extraction and context analysis. Text sent to the API is not stored by Anthropic beyond the duration of the request. No other third parties receive your data.
Your Rights
- Access: You can request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Revocation: You can disconnect Google services at any time from your Claudriel settings, which immediately revokes our access
- Portability: You can export your data in standard formats
Google API Services User Data Policy
Claudriel's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the application. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
