1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Claudriel ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Claudriel is a personal operations platform that connects to your Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive) to extract commitments, generate daily briefings, and provide contextual intelligence about your work. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• One person per account; accounts are not transferable

4. Google API Integration

The Service accesses your Google account data through OAuth 2.0 with read-only permissions. You can revoke access at any time through your Claudriel settings or your Google Account permissions. Our use of Google data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Your Data

• You retain ownership of all data you provide or that is accessed through your connected accounts
• We process your data solely to provide the Service's features
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own purposes

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Use automated tools to access the Service beyond its intended interfaces

7. AI-Generated Content

Claudriel uses artificial intelligence to extract commitments, generate briefings, and provide suggestions. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any information before acting on it. The Service does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep Claudriel available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.

9. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time, which will remove all your data from our systems
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claudriel and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the application or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
